Applicants should normally hold a UK bachelor’s degree with a minimum classification of 2:2, or an equivalent international qualification. Applicants who do not meet this academic requirement may still be considered if they can demonstrate at least three years of relevant work experience in education or a related field, including full-time or part-time teaching or training experience. Applicants who hold a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, including 100 hours of teaching practice, alongside a relevant bachelor’s degree are also welcome to apply. For applicants who have not previously studied in the UK, an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, may be required.
